Campaigning for the local elections

I have been out campaigning with candidates and Party members in the local elections in Stoneygate, Castle and Rushey Mead wards over the last two weekends. The results are very positive and we all received a warm welcome on the doorstep. It was particularly heartening when one woman stopped me in the street to say she was supporting us.

The Labour Party will be fighting hard in all 54 local council seats that will be contested on May 5th. We will be building on our successful track record of the last four years and soon presenting our plans for the next four.
