Many thanks to all those who have posted comments on my website, it’s attracting a lot of attention, from as far afield as Australia! See article in the Leicester Mercury. I am sorry to disappoint those who have made personal and pointless comments, you’re right, I won’t be publishing them here. I want to make it clear that I am more than prepared to respond, and to publish serious enquiries about my campaign and what I would do if elected as Leicester’s Mayor. I have already had a number of queries about the development on Aylestone Meadows, the role of the universities, litter, and the regeneration of our city. By the way, to the critics I’d like to say two more things: one, councillors expenses are not high compared to those of MPs and some private businesses; two, CURVE and Phoenix Square are successful and in the right place. It was our intention to make every £ of taxpayers investment work at least twice, once for fantastic new theatre and cinema and once again to breathe new life into a run down part of Leicester.
