Labour Leader: Leicester East Nomination meeting

This Friday 5th August I was pleased to nominate Jeremy Corbyn to be Leader of the Labour Party at the Leicester East constituency meeting.

The meeting was well attended and there were many speakers in support of Jeremy and only a few for Owen Smith. Whislt those supporting Jeremy clearly won the arguments the vote went to Owen Smith.

It was close and it was good that Jeremy got so much support.

It was good to see some new members getting involved.
