Voluntary sector work has been the main focus for MLT Consultancy over the last 20 years or so.

Ross brings 25 years experience of working in the voluntary sector, He was for several years the regional director of a national charity, that merged with Business in the Community. He left to set up MLT which has since worked with many organisations providing development support and guidance on effective management. He also brings 26 years experience as a local authority member and funder/commissioner of services from voluntary orgainsations.

This work has ranged form large scale evaluations of the impact of organisations, for both funders and management committees, to training of voluntary committee memebrs in a whole range of skills. As well as understanding contracting, how to influence decision makers, business & forward planning, running meetings effectively, communication and dealing with the media, and managing staff.
